Cosy Chester Cottage - Quaint Stay Sleeps 2-5

Disappointing and a waste of money paying for 5 people to stay in a 1 bed VERY SMALL house. Positive: The location was good with parking available. Negative: The door was wide open (unlocked) when we arrived, when we went to go out and lock the door the keys wouldn’t work to re open the door. Attempted to contact the hosts at 3:30pm and had no response until 7:30pm and they just asked what the problem was, even after repeatedly stating we can not unlock the door from the outside and had to leave the door u locked and put our valuables in our cars for safety, we still had no contact from the host to help or resolve the issue. There was only 1 bed for 5 people, the others were expected to stay on the couch and a VERY small sofa bed. Only 1 bed was made and no extra duvets or bed linen was available, after again messaging the hosts as to were the duvets pillows etc were, to which we had no reply, we eventually found some in a cupboard upstairs (which wasn’t enough for 5 people) the ‘cosy cottage’ is advertised for 5 people yet realistically only sleeps 2-3. Please do not stay here if there are more than 2 of you, it is over priced and wrongly advertised for 5 people. This was so disappointing with no attempt to rectify any issues from the hosts just automated messages via WhatsApp.

Perfect for our needs Positive: Cozy and near to our venue (Chester racetrack) Negative: The lock on the front door was loose which made it difficult to get in, the house was incredibly hot especially in the loft bedroom could’ve done with a fan.

Amazing! Positive: Great location anfld the cottage was beautiful! Negative: Further directions might have been handy just to know we needed to go around 5he other side to find the front door but we found it, thanks.
